SCAD offers several dining options to suit students’ schedules and lifestyles. Meal Plans may be purchased by the quarter and are accessed through the use of the SCAD Card.
RESIDENTIAL MEAL PLANS
Four full-residential meal plans offer a designated number of meals per week or quarter, as well as a variable amount of flexible spending credit (Dining Dollars) to be used at SCAD eateries of the students’ choice.
Students residing in Colony at the Hive, Dance at the Hive, Everest at the Hive, Honey at The Hive, Turner, Turner Annex, Oglethorpe House, Montgomery, or Spring House require participation in either meal plans A, B, C, or D.
A meal plan is optional for students living in ACA House, Barnard Village, Boundary Village, Pulaski House, or The Terrace. These students, and those residing off campus, may choose any of the plans listed in the chart.
Meal periods are designated times throughout the day wherein you can use a meal swipe for each type of meal – breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and early morning meals. For your convenience, we offer 6 meal periods per day:
Period 1: midnight-5:30 a.m.
Period 2: 5:30-10:30 a.m.
Period 3: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Period 4: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Period 5: 4:30-9 p.m.
Period 6: 9 p.m.-midnight
Meal Plans A, B, and D permit only one swipe during each meal period for a total of six swipes a day. Meal counts reset each week before the breakfast meal period at 11:59pm on Thursday. Each of our cafés and restaurants have unique hours of operation, so please review our café hours to see what’s open during each meal period.

Designated locations throughout campus will feature Studio Bee menu options that a meal plan holder can combine to create a full meal, and all for just ONE meal swipe! The HIve coffee bar is now offering an early morning breakfast option beginning at 5:30am.
